When does the Scottish transfer window close?
The Scottish transfer window opened on Saturday, June 9 – later than the Premier League which opened on Thursday, May 17.
FIFA rules state that there must be a 12-week window for deals to be done which means that the Scottish transfer window will shut on the traditional day – Friday, August 31.
The Premier League voted to open the transfer window early so that deals could be finalised before the start of the season – ie. Friday.
