Callum Hudson-Odoi has taken to social media to reveal that his recovery from his achilles injury is going well and he hopes to be back on the pitch soon for Chelsea FC.
The Blues playmaker has been out of action since suffering the problem on 22 April and requiring surgery.
The 18-year-old is expected to miss the start of the new Premier League season but it would seem that his recovery is going well based by the update he posted on Instagram over the weekend.
The England teenager shared a video of himself taking part in some light training at the Blues’ Cobham base and posted a message to suggest that his recovery is going well.
Hudson-Odoi shared the video on his personal account and wrote the caption: “Recovery is going well, I hope to be soon back on the pitch!!.”
The teenager’s current contract at Chelsea FC is set to expire next summer and he has been linked with a move away from the west London club.
Bayern Munich were strongly linked with a move to sign Hudson-Odoi in the January transfer window but a switch failed to materialise.
Chelsea FC are currently on the lookout for a new manager after they parted company with Maurizio Sarri earlier this month, with the Italian taking over at Juventus.
