LIAM Gallagher is softening in his old age — and making up with all the people he used to hate.
I can reveal the Oasis legend has buried the hatchet with Artic Monkeys singer Alex Turner after tearing into the Sheffield singer’s fake American accent last year.
The pair bonded at a hotel in Budapest, Hungary, and were spotted knocking back booze and chatting about music into the early hours.
A source said: “Liam has definitely mellowed over the past year, particularly since reuniting with his daughter Molly. He’s realised that sometimes he is too quick to speak before thinking things through.
“He really took a shine to Budapest and was in a top mood when he bumped into Alex at Sziget Festival.
“Alex was there ahead of the Arctic Monkeys performance on Tuesday and after they got chatting backstage they ended up back at a local hotel until the early hours, drinking and talking about music.
“Liam is definitely a changed-for-the-better man. Alex didn’t seem to be holding any grudge, they got on like a house on fire.”
Liam, mocked Alex, last October for adopting a Transatlantic twang after moving to Los Angeles in 2012. He said: “The singing’s alright for me, you know what I mean?
It’s when they do an interview later on down the line, and they’ve been to America once, and they come back speaking American.
“They’re the ones. Like the geezer from the Arctic Monkeys.
“He did it, didn’t he? He started getting his hair in a quiff and putting biker leather jackets on.”
As well as ending his feud with Alex, Liam stunned fans last month by offering his brother Noel an olive branch after the best part of a decade at each other’s throats.
He begged the High Flying Birds frontman to get Oasis back together and stop “f***ing about”, but made a U-turn the next day.
At least it’s a step in the right direction.

Top marks for Pixie
PIXIE Lott got her animals mixed up as she performed at Flamingo Land in zebra stripes – although she did have pink hair.
The Voice Kids judge had the crowd going wild during her Party In The Park gig at the North Yorks zoo on Saturday, when she reeled off songs including hit Mamma Do.
Pixie is set to marry model Oliver Cheshire next year accompanied by an army of 18 bridesmaids.
She told Loose Women: “You only do it once, I want all my closest friends along on the journey.”
I’m getting a headache just thinking about it.

WITH everyone trying the “Kiki Challenge” it’s no surprise Drake’s In My Feelings is the most streamed tune for a fifth week.
He is also in the Top 20 with Don’t Matter To Me, featuring Michael Jackson and his collaboration with Travis Scott, Sicko Mode.
John’s new missus
CONGRATULATIONS to John Newman, who has tied the knot with Danish girlfriend Nana.
The Love Me Again singer posted an Instagram story on Saturday showing him wearing a wedding suit with a white rose. He was surrounded by confetti.
He travelled in style for his big day, as he could be seen standing next to a vintage car with flowers and ribbons on it.
The good news comes after I revealed the pair would exchange vows at a register office in North London over the weekend. They were joined by close friends and family to celebrate the wedding back at his home in Kent.
Olly’s strict request
OLLY Alexander from Years & Years would love to sign up for Strictly Come Dancing – but only if he gets a male partner.
The singer said if asked, he would appear on the BBC show once bosses change rules on same sex couples. He said: “I’d want a guy partner. I need a big man to spin me around.”
It comes after Doctor Ranj Singh, who will be on this year’s series, said he is keen for a male partner and pro Kevin Clifton said he would have “no problem” with it.
Amanda Holden and David Walliams have also called for producers to introduce same sex couples. The BBC has no plans to change things this year.

The second official single from the record, God Is A Woman, rises two places to No10 after nearly two million streams.
JESY Nelson is never shy of making a fashion statement.
And the singer, let her get-up do the talking on a night out in the captial, showing off her toned figure in a kooky Gucci bralet and matching culottes. She sported the daring ensemble while heading to the Bunga Bunga restaurant in London’s Covent Garden.
Jesy and her Little Mix bandmates Perrie Edwards, Jade Thirwall and Leigh-Anne Pinnock are enjoying a summer break ahead of the launch of their latest album.
It will be the band’s fifth studio release and is due out later this year. A return to the charts seems assured.
Greg’s having a bawl
HAVING a newborn and 4am alarms don’t exactly go hand-in-hand.
But Greg James reckons he will be able to juggle his new job on the Radio 1 Breakfast Show when he eventually becomes a dad.
The presenter, who takes over from Nick Grimshaw this morning, has revealed he is planning to have kids with his journalist fiancée Bella Mackie.
In an exclusive interview, Greg said: “I want kids, definitely. There’s no massive hurry in starting a big life event. Bella’s got a career which she’s really passionate about.
“There’s lots going on so we definitely want to take our time but I absolutely want to be a dad.”
Greg credited his partner for giving him the strength to be a radio superstar following a difficult period when he thought, “f*** it, I can’t go on and be funny and happy today”.
The DJ added: “I feel like she brings out the best side of me and that’s really helped with my work.
“She’s got a really good insight into things.
“She’s so smart that I’ve learnt a lot of ways to deal with people and get through this whole transitional phase. So I feel grown up but I feel sillier than ever.
“I’m clearer on what I want the show to be, more than I ever have been.”

GEORGE Ezra has told how telly bosses once tried to get him to sing while a pole vaulter jumped over him.
In an exclusive interview at the Boardmasters Festival in Newquay, Cornwall, he said: “It was Christmas and I was in France. About five minutes before I was going to perform they said, ‘How would you feel if the national pole vaulting champion, dressed as Santa Claus, jumped over you during the song?’
“I declined that offer. Which is a shame, as I wish I had of done it.”
