THE mum of one of serial killer Levi Bellfield’s victims has slammed the making of a new ITV drama based on his crimes.
‘Manhunt’ will star Martin Clunes as Chief Inspector Colin Sutton, who is credited securing Bellfield’s conviction for three counts of murder and one attempted murder.

Eileen Sheedy, 50, whose daughter Kate Sheedy was left for dead by the fiend at the age of 18 after she was attacked as she returned home from celebrating her last day at school.
Miraculously, she survived the attack in Isleworth, West London, in which Bellfield deliberately mowed her down in his van before reversing over her in May 2004.
Eileen said the programme should never have been made out of sensitivity to the victims who are still ‘too raw’ to relive the horror.
She told Mail Online: “What happened is still very raw, if that makes sense, for it to be made into a drama. It’s not that long ago. It doesn’t feel that long ago.

“We always knew it would happen but just not in our lifetime perhaps. It has taken years to recover from this and to have it all brought up again like this, in the name of entertainment?
“We were told and my daughter made it very clear she wanted nothing to do with the drama then or at any stage.”
Kate, now 32, is said to now be living a ‘healthy and happy life’ and has gone on to marry and have children.
Bellfield was found guilty of murdering Marsha McDonnel and Amelie Delagrange, as well as the attempted murder of Kate Sheedy on February 25, 2008, and sentenced to life imprisonment.
