JAMES Argent was spotted in good spirits as he left Gemma Collins’ house just days before he checked into rehab again.

The 30-year-old has rekindled his romance with Gemma, 37, following their split in July of this year and is currently being supported by her as he seeks help.

Arg appeared to have stayed the night as he carried a wash bag under his arm as he left her home.

Today, The Sun Online revealed that Arg has decided to book himself in for treatment and will be taking a break from Towie in the meantime.

Gemma and Arg’s roller-coaster romance has played out on screen for six years.

In July the couple split but decided to get back together shortly afterwards.

Gemma is standing by Arg as he works through this tough period in his life and their relationship troubles will play out in her new TV show Diva Espana.

A source told The Sun Online: “James was under a dark cloud recently and has made the brave decision to enter back into a programme to help him get back on track.

“He has been attending regular therapy and secondary care at an outpatient treatment facility in London.

“James told his family and friends he wouldn’t be starting filming with this series of Towie.

“He’s being supported by the show’s producers who have agreed he needs to take time out to focus on himself.”

Friends also explained how his struggles affected his relationship with Gemma and said it had been tough on them both.

Gemma admitted herself that it had been tough, saying: “It was incredibly raw, yes, it’s been an incredibly difficult summer.

“But, that said, you know, we’re back now in Essex and Arg is receiving help and you know, as long as he’s doing well, that’s great for him and for us. I’m just supporting him on his journey.”

In January last year, Arg checked into a Thai rehab facility to focus on his health and well-being.

He lost two stone after spending six months in the treatment centre, taking up Muay Thai boxing and overhauling his diet.

He spent six months getting back on his feet and returned to Essex looking and feeling better than ever.
