Liverpool second-choice goalkeeper Simon Mignolet is currently furious with the club’s decision to prevent him from completing his loan move out of Anfield Stadium, that’s according to HLN.
It was said that the player was on the verge of joining Napoli on loan but the deal surprisingly failed to materialize despite claim that the Serie A side have reached an agreement with the Reds for his signature.
Former first-choice goalkeeper Loris Karius made his two-year loan switch to Besiktas yesterday and that has made Mignolet more furious with the club’s manager and sporting director.
We reported last night that the netminder questioned Klopp’s decision to loan Karius, who is highly rated than the Belgian goalie, to Besiktas while his loan move wasn’t permitted.
It remains unclear whether Mignolet will move out of Anfield this summer or he would serve as a backup for Alisson Becker for the first half of this season.
In other news, Liverpool youngster Ovie Ejaria, who is on loan to Rangers, continues his rich goalscoring form as he found the back of the net in three times.
The youngster scored for Steven Gerrard’s team to put scoreline at 3-2 in their favour, but their opponents equalized with just three minutes left on the clock.
