FC Barcelona are preparing a summer bid to sign Willian from Chelsea FC this summer, according to reports in the British media.
The Sun is reporting that the Spanish giants are keen to land the Brazilian this summer and that they are “finally” ready to bring him to Camp Nou.
The same story claims that FC Barcelona failed with a cash-plus-player bid to land Willian in January but they are now prepared to return with a fresh attempt this summer.
Willian’s current contract at Chelsea FC is set to expire next summer and the same story says that FC Barcelona’s interest will “pile the pressure” on the Blues.
The same article states that Willian has been a long-term target for FC Barcelona and the Spanish club could finally get their man this summer.
Willian has been in fine form for Chelsea FC so far this season, scoring six goals and making two assists in 31 Premier League games.
The 30-year-old has also netted three times and made seven assists in the Europa League this season to help the Blues reach the semi-finals.
Chelsea FC are preparing to take on Watford at Stamford Bridge on Sunday afternoon.
