Chelsea FC talisman Eden Hazard is hopeful that the team can have a strong season under new boss Maurizio Sarri, after a strong start.
Sarri’s men maintained their perfect start to the new Premier League campaign on Saturday with a 2-0 win against Bournemouth at Stamford Bridge.
Late goals from Pedro and Eden Hazard ensured that Chelsea picked up another well earned three points against Eddie Howe’s well-organised visitors.
Hazard, in particular, has been in electrifying form in recent weeks and it appears that he is relishing the freedom Sarri’s system allows him, which amplifies his effectiveness in attacking areas.
The Belgian star gave his verdict to reporters on Chelsea FC’s start to the season post-match, insisting that there is still a long way to go.
He told the Chelsea FC website: “I hope it will be a big season for the team. I know if I play good the team plays good, so I need to be ready for everything.
“The season is long and in the Premier League you never know – anything can happen – so we will fight until the end. We have 38 games and we have won four, but we can improve.
“When we are winning, the manager always has a magic touch, but we know the Premier League is not easy and one day we will lose. When we lose a game, that’s where we can see if we are a good team.”
Next up for Chelsea FC after the international break is a home game against newly-promoted Cardiff City at Stamford Bridge and supporters will be hopeful of another three points against Neil Warnock’s struggling side.
