Stan Collymore has heaped praise on Sadio Mane after his goal in Liverpool FC’s 2-1 win over Leicester on Saturday afternoon.
Mane has been Liverpool FC’s standout player in the opening couple of months of the Premier League season.
The Reds forward scored four times in seven games ahead of third-placed Leicester City this weekend.
The 27-year-old made the breakthrough in the 40th minute when Mane slotted past Kasper Schmeichel in the Leicester goal.
Mane has now netted six times in 10 appearances in all competitions for the Merseyside outfit.
Former Liverpool FC striker Collymore was impressed with Mane’s finish in the first half.
Collymore wrote on Twitter: “Delicious through ball from Milner on the left flank, curves left to right into the path of Mane who gallups away and slots past Schmeichel. World class pass from Milner.”
James Maddison cancelled out Mane’s opener in the final 10 minutes but James Milner rescued three points from the penalty spot in added time.
Mane moved to Liverpool FC in a £27m deal from Southampton in the 2016 summer transfer window.
The Senegal international has scored 66 goals in 133 games in all competitions since his switch to the 18-time English champions.
The Reds forward won the Champions League crown last term after he netted four times in 13 games.
Liverpool FC will return to Premier League ation after the international break with a trip to Manchester United before they host Tottenham Hotspur at Anfield.
