Alisson Becker and Pepe Reina were snapped celebrating Liverpool FC’s Champions League triumph together on Saturday night after the Reds won the competition for a sixth time.
Liverpool FC were 2-0 winners against Tottenham Hotspur in the Madrid final to make amends for their disappointment in the Champions League showpiece in Kiev last term.
The Merseyside outfit waited 14 years to secure their sixth Champions League crown after Reina was part of the Liverpool FC team that lost 2-1 to AC Milan in Athens in 2007.
Alisson was signed on the back of Liverpool FC’s 3-1 loss to Real Madrid in the Champions League final last term after Loris Karius made two big mistakes in the showpiece.
The Brazil international justified his £67m transfer fee with eight saves in the Champions League showpiece to keep Tottenham at bay in Madrid.
Alisson became the first Liverpool FC goalkeeper to keep 20 clean sheets or more in a Premier League season since Reina.
And the former Liverpool FC goalkeeper posed for a snap with Alisson after the Reds’ triumph over Tottenham in Madrid on Saturday night.
Alisson posted the above photo on his Instagram stories as current and past goalkeepers came together to celebrate.
Only AC Milan and Real Madrid have won the Champions League more times than Liverpool FC.
