Dejan Lovren has taken to social media to reveal that Mohamed Salah is “OK” ahead of a vital week of games for Liverpool FC.
Salah was forced off in the second half of Liverpool FC’s 3-2 win over Newcastle United on Saturday night with a suspected concussion after a heavy collision with Martin Dubravka at St James’ Park.
Liverpool FC fans will be hoping that Salah’s situation is not too serious as the Reds prepare to take on FC Barcelona in the second leg of their Champions League semi-final clash at Anfield on Tuesday night.
The Reds will then play Wolves at home in their Premier League game of the season on Sunday afternoon as they look to try and end the campaign on a high.
Liverpool FC defender Lovren was asked by one fan on Instagram whether Salah was OK, and the centre-half replied: “Yes he is OK. Just can’t remember who I am. Don’t worry he will be fine, Mo is a monster. ”
Meanwhile, Liverpool FC boss Jurgen Klopp has already confirmed that Roberto Firmino will not be fit for the Reds’ clash against FC Barcelona at Anfield on Tuesday night.
Klopp said in his post-match news conference on Saturday: “He will not be ready for Tuesday and the rest we will see.”
Liverpool FC are aiming to overturn a 3-0 first-leg deficit after their disappointing loss to the Catalan side last week.
