Chelsea FC are lining up a swoop to sign Philippe Coutinho to replace Eden Hazard, according to a report in Spain.
Spanish media outlet El Confidencial, as quoted by Metro, is reporting that Chelsea FC have earmarked the Brazil international as the ideal replacement for Hazard.

According to the same story, Coutinho’s representatives have been in talks with FC Barcelona about his future following a difficult 18 months at Camp Nou so far.
The Brazil international has struggled to hit the ground running at the Spanish giants since his move to FC Barcelona from Liverpool FC in January 2018.
Coutinho has scored five goals and has made two assists in 20 starts and 12 substitute appearances in an underwhelming campaign for the 26-year-old at Camp Nou.
Hazard was a surprise omission from the PFA Premier League team of the year, despite the Belgian forward scoring 16 goals and making 13 assists in 34 Premier League appearances.
The Chelsea FC number 10 has been a key player at Stamford Bridge over the past seven seasons following his money move to the Blues from Ligue 1 side Lille in 2012.
