Pedro Rodriguez says it is crucial that his Chelsea FC team-mates stay “calm” as the Blues head into a crucial few weeks of their season.
The Blues secured their place in the Europa League semi-finals on Thursday night thanks to a thrilling 4-3 win over Slavia Prague at Stamford Bridge.
Chelsea FC will now turn their attentions back towards Premier League affairs as Maurizio Sarri’s men look to try and finish in the top four this season.
The west London club are currently behind Arsenal in fifth place in the table as they bid to try and break back into the top four before the campaign is out.
Chelsea FC will host Burnley at Stamford Bridge in their next Premier League game on Monday night as they aim to keep alive their hopes of Champions League qualification for next season.
And Pedro has talked up the importance of Chelsea FC keep focused as the season approaches its most important few weeks.
Speaking in an interview with Chelsea FC’s website, Pedro said: “To pass to the semi-final was a big target for us. The result gives us confidence for the final games of the season.
“Now we need to stay calm, enjoy this win because it wasn’t easy, and now to prepare well for Burnley because it’s another very important game for us.”
Chelsea FC will take on Frankfurt in the Europa League semi-finals as they look to book their place in the final.
The Blues know that winning the Europa League this season would book them a place in next term’s Champions League.
