Unai Emery says that Aaron Ramsey is fully focused on finishing the season strongly with Arsenal ahead of his move to Juventus in the summer.
The 28-year-old Wales international has been in good form for the Gunners in recent weeks and he scored one of their two goals in their 2-0 win over Napoli in the Europa League on Thursday night.
Arsenal’s decision to let Ramsey leave on a free transfer in the summer has been met by surprise by a lot of fans.
However, Emery believes that the midfielder is now fully focused on finishing the season well with Arsenal and helping the Gunners to qualify for next term’s Champions League.
Speaking in an interview quoted by Metro after Thursday’s game, Emery said: “His performance in this moment for us he wants to do something important.
“He wants to help us do something important because he feels a lot for Arsenal Football Club and how he is with the supporters.
“He gives us more than all he can not individually [for himself] but for the club.
“I want to enjoy with him in this moment. I want to do something important with him. His focus now is a very big focus for Arsenal only.”
Ramsey has scored six goals and made seven assists in all competitions for Arsenal so far this season, despite only starting 13 Premier League games for the Gunners.
Arsenal will return to Premier League action on Monday night when they travel to Vicarage Road to take on Watford.
The north London side head into this weekend’s round of fixtures in fifth place in the table as they aim to try and break back into the top four before the season is out.
