Arsenal and Tottenham Hotspur are both interested in a potential summer swoop to sign Inter Milan winger Ivan Perisic, according to a report in Italy.
Italian media outlet Corriere dello Sport, as quoted by Sport Witness, is reporting that Arsenal and Spurs are monitoring the Croatia international’s situation at San Siro.
The same article states that Arsenal are eager to sign a winger in the summer and the Gunners have indentified Perisic as a potential candidate to add more width to Unai Emery’s side.
According to the same story, Tottenham are also keen on Perisic as Mauricio Pochettino looks to improve his squad after their move into their magnificent new stadium in north London.
The report goes on to suggest that Inter may be forced to sell World Cup runner up Perisic to raise transfer funds for some summer additions.
Tottenham were impressive 1-0 winners against defending Premier League champions Manchester City in the first leg of their Champions League quarter-final at their new stadium on Tuesday night.
Son Heung-min scored the decisive goal in the final 10 minutes to secure a narrow lead ahead of the return leg at The Etihad next week.
Arsenal, meanwhile, will take on Italian side Napoli in the first leg of their Europa League quarter-final at The Emirates on Thursday night.
