Liverpool FC are ready to offer Divock Origi a new contract, according to reports in the British media.
Football Insider is reporting that the Reds are prepared to offer the 23-year-old a new deal to keep him at Anfield for the foreseeable future.
Origi’s current deal at Anfield is set to expire in the summer of 2020, but the same report claims that Liverpool FC chiefs have been impressed by the striker’s attitude this season.
The Belgium international has scored two goals and made one assist in 10 Premier League appearances this season, but he has only started three times in the top flight this term.
The same articles says that should Origi reject Liverpool FC’s offer of a new deal, he will likely be sold in the summer.
