Manchester United are prepared to make a £35m bid to sign Aaron Wan-Bissaka from Crystal Palace this summer, according to reports in the British media.
The Daily Mail is reporting that the Red Devils are weighing up a big-money move to try and bring the 21-year-old to Old Trafford this summer as one of Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s first signings.
The same story says that Solskjaer has “earmarked” Wan-Bissaka as a candidate to replace Antonio Valencia at Old Trafford, but the Red Devils could be set to face competition from local rivals Manchester City.
According to the same article, Solskjaer is keen to bring in a new right-back this summer, and is also looking to sign two midfielders and a right winger.
The same story says that the likes of Valencia, Ander Herrera, Juan Mata and Matteo Darmian are all expected to leave Old Trafford this summer.
Manchester United won their first game since Solskjaer’s appointment as the club’s new permanent manager on Saturday with a 2-1 victory over Watford at Old Trafford.
The Red Devils will return to Premier League action on Tuesday night when they take on Wolves away from home.
They will then prepare for the first leg of their Champions League quarter-final clash with FC Barcelona at Old Trafford next week.
