Liverpool FC are set to be boosted by the return of several key players as the title race reaches its conclusion, according to reports in the British media.
The Evening Standard is reporting that the likes of Joe Gomez, Trent-Alexander Arnold and Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain should be available for selection again in the coming weeks.
That would be a timely boost for Liverpool FC, who are now focusing on getting ready for crunch time in the Premier League title race.
The same report says that the injury issues that caused Naby Keita and Xherdan Shaqiri to miss their international games are not thought to be too serious, and the pair could even be available for Sunday’s showdown with Tottenham Hotspur at Anfield in the Premier League.
The article also reports that Jordan Henderson has been able to prove his fitness during the international break after he featured in the 5-0 win over Czech Republic on Friday.
Liverpool FC currently sit in first place in the Premier League table and two points ahead of Manchester City heading into this weekend’s games.
However, the Reds have played a game more than Pep Guardiola’s Manchester City side, who will regain top spot if they win their game in hand.
