Andy Robertson has described Eden Hazard as “special” following his strong form for Chelsea FC this season.
The Belgian playmaker has made a solid start to the new campaign under Maurizio Sarri at Stamford Bridge and he has helped the Blues to notch up four wins in a row in the Premier League so far this season.
Hazard was strongly linked with a transfer away from Chelsea FC in the summer window, with Real Madrid touted as a destination as he entered into the final two years of his contract at the west London club.
However, the 27-year-old has ended up staying at Stamford Bridge and has been in solid form in the opening few games of the new campaign.
And Liverpool FC defender Robertson was full of praise for his Chelsea FC rival in the build-up to Scotland’s friendly with Belgium on Friday night.
Speaking at his pre-match news conference, Robertson said: “He is special. The way he turns and gets at players and commits two or three defenders, there’s not many that have that.
“He has been unbelievable for Chelsea and Belgium and it is somebody that we need to watch.
“The problem with Belgium is, you can’t focus on just Hazard because somebody else pops up.”
Chelsea FC will return to Premier League action after the international break when the Blues take on Cardiff City at Stamford Bridge.
The west London club are aiming to challenge for the title this term after they ended up in fifth place and won the FA Cup under Antonio Conte last season.
