Former Arsenal FC hit-man Nwankwo Kanu believes that Unai Emery’s philosophy at Arsenal FC will ultimately garner success.
Arsene Wenger stepped down as manager at the Emirates at the end of last season after a 22-year reign as manager, with Spanish coach Emery brought in to fill his shoes.
The 46-year-old tactician has the prestige and experience to bring the glory days back to Arsenal FC, having won major trophies with Sevilla and Paris Saint Germain.
So far he has overseen a difficult start to the new campaign for his team, as they have lost two of their opening four matches, albeit against title challengers Man City and Chelsea.
Back to back wins against West Ham and Cardiff City have steered Arsenal FC back in the right direction and ex-Premier league striker Kanu insists that the club has found the right man to lead them forward in Emery.
He told ESPN: “The good thing about him is he knows his trade. He’s been at PSG, won trophies over there.
“He’s bringing the same thing to Arsenal and if you look at what he’s doing, he’s not changing his way of playing.
“He’s strong, he wants his own way, which is good. Now we have to get used to his way and the players as well know that he doesn’t mess around with anybody.
“He wants his way, you have to do it, which is good.”
