ROXANNE Pallett was a big name for Emmerdale fans during the noughties when she played Jo Sugden.
This summer she was involved in a serious car crash which left her injured. Here’s what we know about the Minster FM Radio presenter who just quit Celebrity Big Brother 2018…
Who is Roxanne Pallett and is she married?
Roxanne is a 35-year-old actress and singer from Cumbria.
The actress was raised by a single mum, and eventually attended Liverpool John Moores University where she received a BA in Media, with a film studies major.
She studied acting part-time at the Manchester School of Screen Acting before landing her first major role in Emmerdale.
Before her acting career took off, Roxanne also tried her luck at being a singer, starring in a short-lived girlband called Urban Angel.
After finding her fame, she later showed off her vocals by performing as Gloria Estefan in Celebrity Stars in Their Eyes, and competing in Soapstar Superstar.
In 2009, she also participated in Dancing on Ice, and lasted eight weeks on the show before eventually being eliminated.
Since leaving Emmerdale, the actress has tried her hand at feature films, and appeared in Lake Placid 3 and Wrong Turn 6.
Roxanne got engaged to her fiance, steelworker Lee Walton just 6 days after the pair met in the summer of 2017.
The Celebrity Big Brother bosses were keen to have her on this year’s show, and she reportedly signed a £750,000 contract to enter the Big Brother house.

What happened to Jo Sugden in Emmerdale?
Roxanne played Jo Sugden on the show from 2005 through to 2009.
Arriving on the show as Jo Stiles, she married the long-time resident and farmer Andy Sugden.
During that time she was involved in a domestic violence storyline with her husband, as their relationship turned toxic.
Andy ended up putting Jo in the hospital several times and leaving her with broken bones on more than one occasion.
However, she eventually fought back and in an intense scuffle in a barn, Andy ended up impaled on old farm tools.
After the accident, Andy lied and claimed that she was the one abusing him, and while he was initially believed, the truth eventually came out.
She tried to remain in the village following the split but Andy would not let her go, and she ended up running to get away from him.
Jo later gave a statement about his abuse when Andy was trying to gain custody of his daughter, Sarah.
Since leaving the village, she has barely been mentioned by anyone within the village.

On last Thursday’s episode, CBB viewers were surprised that Roxanne took ofence when her fellow actor contestant Ryan pretended to fight with her.
The actress went on to complain to Big Brother and requested that Ryan was removed from the show.
Many fans sided with Ryan claiming that her claims were overblown.

When is Celebrity Big Brother on TV?
Celebrity Big Brother launched date on Thursday, August 16, 2018, at 9pm on Channel 5, and will continue every night at the same time – except Saturday, when it airs at 10pm.
Rylan Clark-Neal’s CBBBOTS is also back on our screens at 11.05pm.
Bosses pushed the start date back this year to avoid clashing with the hugely popular Love Island. As The Sun Online previously revealed, this series will focus on retribution.
Roxanne was caught up in a scandal when she went to the Diary Room and asked for Ryan to be removed from the house after she said he had punched her and called him a “woman beater”.
Ryan was then called into the diary room and given a formal warning about “unacceptable behaviour.”
Viewers rushed to complain to Ofcom , with many defending Ryan over what happened.
