BRIGHTON defender Leon Balogun has revealed how a WITCH helped him reconnect with his late grandma… and ultimately thrive in the Premier League.
The former Bundesliga star, 30, claims he now feels more attached to his Nigerian roots after being born and raised in Germany after his spiritual encounter.
Balogun was sent to the “reader of auras” by his sister – who initially thought it would help with his persistent injury woes.
The Seagulls star told Football Focus: “I had a lot of issues with injuries and my sister said, ‘I know this lady who I always go to see and she reads auras.
“She asked me some questions about me and my right shoulder, if I had an injury.
“She said she could see a hole in my aura and I showed her my scar.
“It was attracting bad energies and gives them entrance into my whole being.
“After she asked if I had lost someone close to me four or five years ago, that’s when she had my attention because my grandma had died.
“I never really met her as she lived in Nigeria but when she died, it was one of my worst feelings.
“This lady could feel it or see it and gave me the advice to go to Nigeria to reconnect with the country.”

Balogun added the spiritual experience was massive for his career, adding: “When I got the call for the national team, the reconnection started.
“Ever since I was there, everything has fallen into place. I am very happy about the way everything happened.”
Balogun has played twice this season since joining Brighton from Mainz on a free transfer in the summer.
