A MUM has been arrested after allegedly killing her daughter because she wet herself and stuffing her body in a duffel bag.

Aisha Thomas, 29, told cops her daughter Dejah Hunt “wandered off” while they were out shopping in Las Vegas with her three siblings on August 23, according to police.

But when officers searched her home they reportedly found the little girl’s body inside a bag in a wardrobe.

Thomas admitted during her arrest that little Dejah fell to the ground and would not stop crying, so she tried to keep her quiet and gave her water, KTNV reports.

But when she wet herself the raging mum hit her over the head and knocked her out, she allegedly confessed.

She is then said to have wrapped her daughter’s body in several bin bags and stuffed her in the duffel bag “to cover the smell”.

Las Vegas Police arrested Thomas on August 24 on suspicion of murder.

They confirmed the child’s death was caused by blunt force trauma.

Thomas has been temporarily detained pending a hearing on October 1.

The child’s father, Don Edward Hunt Jr. was in jail at the time of his daughter’s death.

The mum’s three remaining kids were given over to the care of Child Protective Services.

Grandmother Yumanda Teena Rubin-Stansberry has set up a GoFundMe page to gather $5,000 (£3,800) for Dejah’s funeral.

She wrote on the page that she would have to pick up her granddaughter’s body and send it to a funeral home before sending her to California.

Police investigations are underway.
