MANCHESTER UNITED have been handled a double boost with Antonio Valencia and Nemanja Matic in contention to face Tottenham.
Neither players have featured this season after picking up injuries on United‘s pre-season tour of the United States.
Matic had surgery on an abdominal problem a month ago and Valencia has been suffering from a calf problem.
But both are back in full training and could come into the side for the visit of Spurs on Monday night.
United have missed the duo badly in their two opening Prem games, with a defeat to Brighton piling pressure on Jose Mourinho.
Valencia’s absence meant Matteo Darmian played at right-back in the win over Leicester on the opening Friday night of the season.

Matic’s injury has handed a chance to Andreas Pereira in United’s opening Premier League matches.
The 22-year-old Brazilian has impressed but the Red Devils’ have still missed the steel that Matic brings.
His return will free up Fred and Paul Pogba in a three-man midfield.
Alexis Sanchez remains a doubt to face Spurs but the Chilean has posted on social media to suggest he could also return after missing the Brighton loss.
