I Will Start Lacazette And Aubameyang Together Very Soon – Unai Emery
Arsenal manager Unai Emery has told reporters his plans for Frenchman Lacazette and Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang this season.
Lacazette has failed to get into the manager’s first eleven in two matches played so far this season and that hasn’t gone well with the club’s supporters, who are beginning to question his team selection.
Emery has finally revealed when he plans to start the Frenchman alongside the Gabonese striker in his team’s attacking department.
He said both players would partner themselves at the frontline when the time is right to do so.
He admitted that both players are top players whose combination could bring more goals to the team but he feels the time is not right to deploy formation that gives room for both players on the pitch.
In his question and answer section with the press, the former PSG manager claimed that all his players will have the chance to prove their worth as the season progress.
According to him, there is going to be very busy fixtures in September and that will provide much chance for him to shuffle his starting lineup for different competitions.
“In September we will start playing Sunday and Thursday. We are going to play more matches and I think every player will get chances to show us his performance for the team.”the manager said
Aubameyang was culprit of missed chances against Chelsea last Saturday and that has made the Gunners faithfuls question the player’s qualities and determination to help the team achieve their desire to win the Premier League glory for the first time since 2004.
