Who’s celebrating their birthday today?

Demi Lovato, 26

Actress, singer and songwriter Demi Lovato first rocketed to fame in Disney Channel’s 2008 hit film Camp Rock.

But did you know she also starred in Barney & Friends when she was just six years old alongside Selena Gomez?

Born and raised in New Mexico, Demi first started playing the piano when she was seven and later took up guitar aged 10.

Following the success of Camp Rock, the teen star was given her own show Sonny With A Chance which ran from 2009 to 2011.

Alongside her music and acting career, Demi has been vocal about her struggles with mental health and substance abuse.

Earlier this month, the Skyscraper singer was hospitalised for a suspected drug overdose after she reportedly smoked the painkiller Oxycodone laced with fentanyl which is the same drug that killed Prince.

She is currently completing a stint in rehab and told her fans her addiction is “something I must continue to overcome and have not done yet.”

David Walliams, 46

David Walliams also has reason to celebrate today.

Since bursting onto the comedy scene in Little Britain, David has gone on to judge Britain’s Got Talent, star in BBC’s Big School and write a best-selling series of children’s books.

Born David Edwards Williams, the star slightly tweaked his surname in 1990 when he joined the actors’ union Equity.

David first met Little Britain co-star Matt Lucas during their time with the National Youth Theatre and the duo first began writing Little Britain in 2000.

Along with his award-winning comedy, David is also a keen activist and famously swan the length of the English Channel for Sports Relief in 2006.

The Gangsta Granny author was also married to supermodel Lara Stone from 2010 until their split in 2015, just two years after the birth of their son Alfred.

He has been a judge on Britain’s Got Talent since 2012.

Amy Adams, 44

American actress Amy Adams is also celebrating a birthday today.

Born in Italy in 1974 but raised in Colarado, Amy Adams first trained to be a ballerina before she decided to pursue acting at the age of 18.

Like a true Hollywood rags-to-riches tale, the star (now one of the highest-earning actresses in the world) worked as a waitress in a musical theatre restaurant in the late nineties before hitting the big time.

In 2002, she was cast opposite Leonardo DiCaprio in Steven Spielberg’s Catch Me If You Can.

But it wasn’t all smooth the sailing as the star struggled to find work for a year afterwards.

Five years later, she became a household name for her performance as lost princess Giselle in Disney’s Enchanted.

Since then, Amy has sunk her teeth into gritter roles like Tom Ford’s Nocturnal Animals and is currently starring in Sky Atlantic’s Sharp Objects.

Amy first met her actor and painter husband Darren Le Gallo in 2001 and the two share daughter Aviana.

Amy turns 44 today.
