ABBEY Clancy has trolled husband Peter Crouch, after he was pictured wearing a “sports bra” during a recent footy game with Stoke City.
The model mum-of-three, 32, has racked up thousands of likes on Instagram, after sharing the striker’s “Myleene Klass shower moment” – in reference to the singer’s infamous I’m A Celeb showers.
Peter, 37, scored the 200th club goal of his career in a 2-2 Championship clash against Preston on Saturday, but everyone’s more interested in the bizarre crop top he was wearing under his purple shirt.
Commenting on Abbey’s mickey-taking snap, one fan said: “Sports bra on point” – with his wife swiftly replying: “he’s finally sprouting”.
While others asked: “Wtf”, “Has he took up netball” and “Since when did Peter Crouch start wearing womens clothes”?
One follower joked that Abbey “absolutely bashed him…..bantasaurus rex!” while another said: “You get moobs in your late 30s” – and a third commented: “this is my favourite thing. Ever.”
Abbey and Peter, who tied the knot in 2011, have three kids together – daughters Sophia, seven, and Liberty, three, and baby son Johnny, seven months.
If you’re feeling concerned about Peter’s bizarre fashion choice, we can confirm that it’s not about keeping the footballer’s pecs in place.
The GPSports top is a high-tech athlete-monitoring device costing £1,150 – which several sports stars have been pictured wearing in the past.
“The vest holds a small player tracking unit that’s worn really tight under the jersey to quantify the demands of the game, and that data is used as a benchmark for training and to dictate recovery protocols,” Damien Hawes, of GPSports, previously told News.com.au.
Essentially, it’s a really fancy FitBit.
Apparently the device used to be worn as a harness, but the straps caused chaffing, which is why they designed the new compression vest.
Damien also revealed that some Chelsea stars wear the devices.
